[Gocamino] pilgrims' preferred status

I rec'd a compostela in October...and my credential did indeed allow me to enter the cathedral through other portals, easily, ...however, without backpack...I guess for security reasons, these aren't allowed no way, no how.
I was able to see the Botafumero up close, at the altar, by circumstance, but the guards were everywhere to make sure you walked through the "hug the apostle' and the 'bones of the saint' and walk through the cathedral all in proper order....I miss the old days, alas...
