El Correo Gallego reports on the first Jacobean Encylopedia

Historical and legendary characters, illustrious pilgrims from around the
world, traditions, legendary places ... Everything is in the three thousand
entries and nearly four thousand pages of *Great Encyclopedia of the Camino
de Santiago. Dictionary Jacobean culture* that was presented yesterday in
Brussels.

"For the first time ever editing an encyclopedia on the Way which
accommodates all aspects of Jacobean culture and, by extension, European,
since both are undeniably connected," explained the director of the play,
journalist and university professor Manuel Rodriguez.

For his part, President of the Parliamentary Intergroup of the Ways of
Santiago, Galicia MEP Francisco Millán Mon, expressed his satisfaction at
present the work in Brussels, capital of Europe "as a recognition of the
European dimension of the Pilgrim's Way."

In this sense, Miller explained that the European perspective "wants to be
very present in the free", which he described as a work "ambitious" which
gives an "all-embracing vision" of what has been depicted along Camino
history .

Besides Millán, participated in the launch director of the Belgian office of
Galicia Foundation Europe, Ana Ramos Barbosa, and the editor responsible for
publishing Compostela (18 volumes), Antonio Couto Rego, Bolanda Editions.

Rodriguez noted that the development of the free have had the participation
of more than 40 international experts, as well as associations and guilds of
the Camino, pilgrims, research centers and universities Jacobean worldwide,
"who have enriched this first European free since it includes the common
culture that has allowed this historic road to baste over the centuries. "

*ILLUSTRATIONS* The information is completed over two thousand one hundred
photographs and graphics, illustrations and maps, and is structured to
facilitate a rapid and thorough consultation.

Initially expected to be available two thousand copies, although it is
