Six weeks after returning home from our Camino from St. Jean to Santiago
(and endless time browsing through my 3 [!] albums of photos), we are
beginning to think of maybe attempting the Camino from Le Puy to St Jean.
We'd love to see some comments/advice about this from those who have done
it. Were there things to avoid, things to be sure to include, places to
stay, places to not to stay, times of the year preferred, differences from
the Camino we have completed, preferred guides/maps, web sites, anything at
all.
And thank you Rebekah -- you nailed it. I think I'm one of the people who
"enjoy whimsy and doggerel and sweetness wherever it is found" and at the
same time, "enjoy standards and aesthetics and judging among all the things
on offer in a free "marketplace of ideas."" Whatever, that whole
interchange was one of the reasons I love gocamino. Looking forward to any
thoughts/opinions/advice on the Camino from Le Puy to St. Jean from every
kind of person out there.
Rita (and Wes)
