[Gocamino] a serious medieval question or three

The tour guide was explining how pilgrims traversing the Camino would stop at the entrance to the cathedral and say a prayer of thanks as they touched their hands on this sacred spot. I remember an almost visceral response when I touched my own hand to that spot.  That is what planted the seed for me; I knew that one day, I would be a pilgrim.  And indeed, I am.  8-)  "Ginn"
