Hello you all,
It has been deter,mined that the cyclist from Zaragoza who collapsed and had to be removed to a hospital by helicopter is a diabetic,? and was suffering from acute hyperglycemia at the time of his fall.
An advisory has been issued to diabetic pilgrims to be scrupulously?careful with their Camino preparations and to avoid taking any chances, particularly if they are cycling.

A man from Zaragoza  that was traveling the Camino de Santiago on mountain bike 
has been transported to the Hospital of Navarra by medivac helicopter after 
being severely hurt as a result of a fall suffered on a trail located around 
Espinal (Navarra), is a resident of Zaragoza and 53 years old. The man, that 
showed numerous traumas and a craneo-encephalic traumatism, was subsequently 
transported to the Hospital of Navarra in a helicopter operated by the State 
Government of Navarra.
