HI Glenn,
You shouldn't have any difficulties going anywhere in Spain the day after Easter Sunday. While?on my yearly trips to Seville for Holy Week I myself do return to the States?on the Monday after Easter Sunday, the flights on such Mondays have never been, at all,?full, neither from Seville to Madrid nor from Madrid to New York. It seems that Easter travelers overwhelmingly return home on Easter Sunday. (As we all know, classes, etc. do resume on Monday).
It is on?Easter Sunday that it seems?impossible to find a flight anywhere if one hasn't made a reservation way in advance.

Frequent flier miles are getting increasingly more difficult to use, but I 
did find a date when I could use mine next year but it happens to be the day 
after Easter April 13, 2009. That is the day I would arrive in Madrid. I 
know that some European countries, especially the predominately Catholic 
ones, continue the Easter observance on the Monday after Easter. Does 
anyone know if there would be difficulties traveling from Madrid to Pamplona 
at that time...how much of the country is really shut down because of the 
holiday?

This "free trip" is too good to pass up.
