Hi Ralph, with one or two exceptions, I've had the same experience you've
had. To the best of my knowledge the sitaution is still the same. Best, xm

It was our experience that if we ended up somewhere where the refugio
was full, that the Hospitalarios would always have another
alternative. a new building would be opened, the bar would know of
some rooms, etc. There would always be a space, maybe primitive, but
at least a spot on a floor out of the rain. I' m getting the
impression that this year, the hospitalrios are providing no
alternatives, that you walk till you find a village with space.

Am I mistaken? I hope so.
