ENGLISH TRANSLATION :

La Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago in Galicia, together
with tens of Jacobean associations and hundreds of pilgrims, has
called for a demonstration on the next 29 of July starting at Monte
del Gozo in defense of the Jacobean Patrimony.

The O Pine Council has planned an industrial development on the
Camino Francés between the center of Cimadevila (Amenal) and the
Gorieta de Lavacolla. The timber cutting has already begun.

This savage assault, upon a patrimony that belongs to us all and is a
Patrimony of Humanity, sums up all the different aggressions that the
Camino is suffering from the Pyrenees to the Finisterre.

WITHOUT THE CAMINO THERE ARE NO PILGRIMS. STOP THE UNPUNISHED
AGGRESSIONS AGAINST EL CAMINO DE SANTIAGO.

Considering this situation, LA ASOCIACIÓN GALEGA DE AMIGOS DO CAMIÑO
DE SANTIAGO -AGACS-, which is fighting against the construction of
that industrial complex, summons all Pilgrims and the friends of the
Camino de Santiago to a protest march in defense of the patrimony of
all, Sunday July 29, starting at the Monte de Gozo chapel of San
Marcos at 10:00 AM, and continuing to the Praza de Obradoiro, where a
manifesto in several languages IN DEFENSE OF THE PATRIMONY OF ALL
JACOBEAN ROUTES will be read.

Later, we will all participate in the Pilgrim's Mass.

For personal reasons, because it is impossible for me to attend the
demonstration that will be held on the 29 of July 2007, in defense of
the Jacobean Patrimony from Mote de Gozo to Santiago, I hereby adhere

La Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago en Galicia, con la
adhesión de decenas de asociaciones jacobeos y cientos de peregrinos,
ha convocado una manifestación desde para el próximo 29 de julio
desde el Monte del Gozo en defensa del Patrimonio Jacobeo.

El Concello de O Pino ha proyectado un Polígono Industrial sobre el
trazado del Camino Francés entre el núcleo de Cimadevila (Amenal) y
la glorieta de Lavacolla. Ya ha comenzado la tala de arbolado.

Este salvaje atentado a un patrimonio que es de todos y Patrimonio de
la Humanidad se une a las diferentes agresiones que el Camino viene
sufriendo desde los Pirineos hasta el Finisterre.

SIN CAMINO NO HAY PEREGRINOS. BASTA YA A AGRESIONES IMPUNES CONTRA EL
CAMINO DE SANTIAGO.

Ante esta situación, LA ASOCIACIÓN GALEGA DE AMIGOS DO CAMIÑO DE
SANTIAGO -AGACS-, que está luchando contra la construcción de ese
Polígono, convoca a todos los peregrinos y amigos del Camino de
Santiago a una marcha reivindicativa en defensa de un patrimonio que
es de todos, el domingo día 29 de julio, con salida del Monte del
Gozo (capilla de San Marcos) a las diez de la mañana y recorrido
hasta la plaza del Obradoiro, donde se leerá un manifiesto en varios
idiomas EN DEFENSA DEL PATRIMONIO DE TODAS LAS RUTAS JACOBEAS.

Luego, todos participaremos en la misa del peregrino.

LUCHA POR TU CAMINO, DEVUÉLVELE PARTE DE LO QUE HAS RECIBIDO.
