[Gocamino] Botafumeiro no go

Hello you all,
The Botafumeiro did not fly at the Sunday Pilgrims' Mass ?today as had been expected.
It seems that while putting the new?rope in place, and trying to make it work, it was found that one of pieces?that makes the mechanism up in the cupola function is worn out, and slightly bent,?and it needs to be replaced. It is possible that the small piece's defect may have caused the problems with the rope that had to be replaced.?
Anyway, it now?looks like a significant part of the?mechanism needs to be taken down for the purpose. (?)
There's no telling when the work will be finished. Someone at the Cathedral said that all efforts will be made to make sure that the Botafumeiro is up and running by Saint James' Day, that is, the 25th of this month.
Sigh!
