I read your advise to Lori.  I am a newbie also.

Do you think that St Jean Pied de Port is too difficult?

I will be traveling in mid May to June. Do you think that I could do 
without a sleeping bag and use a cotton liner instead?

How much clothing do you advise?

After your first trip, what would you have done differently?

Are you US?  I'm looking for suggestions on how to fly to Biarritzs
