Funny, in the late Middle Ages, during the height of the Crusades fever a 
"Children's Crusade" was organized and it was formed mostly by small children and 
teenagers. They never made it to Jerusalem, not even to any Mediterranean 
port if I am not wrong. They were all robbed and killed, or died of the rigors of 
the trip with very little support from official authorities.
