*As to other news:  it seems that Jesus Jato is in trouble again (he has
been fined  in the recent past 64 times for taking backpacks up to O
Cebreiro, among other things). Well, a few weeks ago his albergue "Ave
Phoenix" was fined 4,000 Euros (about 5,500 Dlls) by the Villa Franca del
Bierzo authorities for placing some bricks in front of the albergue without
securing a permit from the municipality first.  Jesus would appreciate it if
those of us who wish to help write to the powers that be in Villa Franca
protesting the henious amount of the fine, which the albergue, of course,
cannot possibly pay.  Messages may be sent to     **

The lawyers from the Galizian Asociacion (AGACS) are currently working to
help Jesús Jato. The bill is not relationed with carrying backpacks to
Cebreiro.
