Hello all,

 

Thankyou to all who helped with suggestions for places to stay in Bilbao
and Roncevalles.

Javier ....we went with one of your suggestions in the end and were very
pleased to find out we can pay on arrival. (San Marmes Hostal)

 

Has anyone come across the video series done by the BBC called "Fire in
the Blood". (mid 1980s)?

An Irishman, Ian Gibson, who has lived in Spain for years, takes you
through modern Spain with background into recent history. Very
worthwhile as a prep to going for the first time, if you can still get
it. I work at a University library so can get these things easily, but
can find out more details if anyone is interested.
