[Gocamino] Moscatel

On my first Camino last year, I was surprised that I could never get a glass of Muscatel wine.  It is one of my favorite aperitifs or late evening drink to sip on.  I was surprised because the Moscatel I drink here at home comes from Spain.  I also could not get a glass of a sweet sherry as an after meal drink.  I was wondering if there is an explanation for this seeming lack of sweet or desert wines, or if I was just stopping at the wrong places.
