Hello you all,
The Ultreia choir has also recorded the songs of the Codex Calistino in a
four-disc series which is just gorgeous. They made the recordings in the
hollows of ancient monasteries, including that awesome Sobrado Monasterio des
Monxes, which is an albergue on the Northern and Primitive Caminos. The records are
breathtaking, much more impressive and beautiful, to my taste, than any of
the Gregorian Chants records that were issued a few years ago and that became so
popular.
The four-disc Codex set costs 60 Euros, and is worth every last penny, and
then some; it can be purchased at the Cathedral of Santiago and in some
multimedia bookstores, such as San the San Pablo bookstores..

In honor of the Virgin, the Ultreaia Choir has also recorded ancient songs
dedicated to Mary. The name of that record, which is just exquisite, is "Coro
Ultreia, Ave Maria Stella".

The Museum of Peregrinations will exhibit, commencing next Saturday, the 49
publications about the Camino which were admitted for submission in the
contest held by AFEDA, Asociacion para o Fomento de Encadernacion de Libros de
Arte, (Association to encourage the creation of books of art). The chosen Items
range from notebooks to be used by Pilgrims as diaries, with artistically
designed covers and pages, and printed books like Camino guides, prayer books,
meditation books and books for other Camino related purposes.

At the opening of the exhibition the three winners, all female, of the
contest will receive their awards. . Alas! the exhibition will close on March
21st.

Big hug!
Rosina
