The St. John Latrine/Lateran mix-up has happened enough hundreds of times that it's given rise of a sub-genre of jokes in seminaries and architecture circles. When I saw it spelled that way I thought you were (as they say in Ealing, and most appropriate here) "taking the piss"  or making a joke! 
Your posts are always informative, witty, and welcome. Don't you stop!
