We stayed in the Marais district this April - Hotel St. Louis Marais was very nice €107 for double. I can vouch for the district as being a nice location. My Rick Reeves guide says in that same district, Hotel Pointe Rivoli is a good value €60 for single, Grand Hotel Jeanne d'Arc single €55-70, others for more € Ralph Alcorn www.backpack45.com
