Life goes on despite horror. Mankind has always plodded forward through
onslaughts by Genghis Khan, the Crusades, the Hundred Years War, and at moments has
soared in spirit, creating great beauty, great works of music and art and
great
technological and scientific strides for his/her fellow-man. Without in any
way, underestimating the damage some do to their fellows, let's celebrate the
good and put the rest in perspective.
