I had a feeling that I would get something like this in response.  The
context was: complaints about US entry/visa policy being unduly harsh.  My point was
that the current administration's policies as determined by John Ashcroft and
others are totally overreaching and too restrictive.
Now to address what bothers you:  Ultra-conservative Supreme Court Appointees
like Clarence Thomas (Scalia, Rehnquist and others who may be appointed by
George W.) are likely to interpret the law in their favor.  More centrist
presidents, even liberals like Kerry, would more likely appoint less doctrinaire
judges thereby preventing unfair US immigration and visa policies.  Get it?
