gocamino Article on Provincia León in Geo Magazine

"León: Gentes y paisajes vigorosos entre la Meseta y la montaña" is the cover article in the most recent issue (No 212) of  the Spanish edition of  Geo magazine (ISSN 0213-7755; The German and other editions of Geo may not include the same contents). The article includes descriptions of the entire province of León with some great pictures of various places along and close to the Camino, including a fine picture of Villafranca del Bierzo titled "Parada final del Camino." Interestingly, the panoramic picture of the town manages to hide the famous refugio Fenix behind the castle. The text in Castellano describes the various landscapes of  León along with some practical information for potential visitors. I chanced on the issue of Geo while browsing the travel section at  a local magazine stand, so it is readily available in the US.
