Pilgrimage & Chora

Fascinating,

Religion, from religare as reconnection, might be seen
as reconnection between Nature/God, Hermes/Hestia,
Peter Pan/Wendy, Peregrino(ie stranger)/Home.

And yet to close the circle of Alfa/Omega (ie
Beginning/End) is perhaps the best definition on
religare, as an act of closing a self-defining circle
of eternal life.

So far I would define Chora, as space in where
thoughts travel from beauty of Hestia (heart) by
Hermes into mind of visibility, and returning
thereafter back to the heart, like Echo in myth of
Narcissus’ transfiguration (metamorphose).

Perception of time is therefore an 'illusion' of mind,
as a thought only surfaces the mind in a moving
moment, creating an illusion of a time-line.

Beauty vs visibility is Hestia vs Hermes...

And in Hestia there is no notion of time, and as
Hermes gradually travels from heart to mind, then time
gradually becomes a notion, as a consequence of
movement. (The Grail is gradual.)

In conclusion time would stand still in heart of
Hestia, without the mind trickery of Hermes, and Peter
Pan’s story displays the archetypes of the pilgrims to
Santiago de Compostela.

Plato’s cave is also the story of Hermes/Hestia, as
leaving the cave is entering the bonfire in heart of
Hestia
