Via Francigena

I have just started a new Yahoo group "Via Francigena" covering the route
from Canterbury to Rome. This has been designated a European Cultural Route
and in time may attract the same investment as the Camino. At present it is
very much quieter and perhaps as the Camino was before its recent revival.
So far I am the only member and I do not expect the group to grow rapidly
as there is not yet much information or literature about the route in
English although there is plenty of information in Italian. I would
especially welcome anyone with experience of the route as I am a
prospective 'pilgrim' on the way to Rome rather than a returned one.
