Getting to Le Puy - St. Etienne Chateaucreux train station - how
complex?

We are taking TGV from Paris, and have two choices. One gives us 16 minutes
at the St. Etienne Chateaucreux train station before train to Le Puy leaves,
the other 9 minutes. Our French is minimal. Are we going to be able to find the
Le Puy train in 5 minutes or so? i.e. is it a big complex station or will it
be obvious?
Thanks,
