2003 pilgrims from far away

Hello you all,
Last year 440 pilgrims walked to Santiago all the way from Germany;  276 from Belgium; 185 from Switzerland;  132 from Lourdes;  122 from Arles,  44 from Paris;  1,300 from sundry towns and villages in France;  578 from Holland;  56 from Rome and Assisi;  50 from Austria,  370 from Oporto;  42 from Vigo; 22 from Lisbon;  12 from Denmark;  10 from Poland;  2 from Chekoslovakia;  2 from Slovenia;  2 from Luxemburg,  2 from Norway,  1 from Finland,  one from Greece,  one from Russia and one from Turkey.
Within Spain, 10,300 pilgrims starting out in Sarria;  7,761 in Roncesvalles,  7,670 in SJPP (ok is not Spain, but it's on the border);  6,289 in O Cebreiro (including me!); 5,485 in Leon;  5,442 in Ponferrada;  4,805 in Astorga;  2,580 in Pamplona;  2,228 in Burgos;  2,183 in Villafranca,  1,746 in Le Puy;  1,573 in Tuy; 890 in Somport (also on the border with France), and the rest, in decreasing numbers, (including 586 from Seville), from many towns and cities totalling 105 in all.
