Camino Guide for Sale and Northern Route

Hello,

I have a brand new copy of "The Road to Santiago THe Pilgrim's Practical
Guide" for sale.  This book is not available in the states and is
frequently referred to as the best guide to the Camino Frances.  The ISBN
is 84-241-0420-x.  It is a special edition complete with detaild maps of
each stage with text and elevation cross sections.  I will sell it for $30
including shipping.

I walked the northern route this summer from San Sebastian.  Although it
is beautiful, it is very rugged with many steep elevation gains.  Also,
the network of albergues is not the good until near Galicia.  I am an
experienced day-hiker and have done wilderness backpacking and I can say
that I have not encountered so many ticks as I have on the northern
route.  Bring your tweezers or stick to the highway! It is definitely for
the more adventurous type who don't mind doing their own navigation in the
absence of yellow arrows at many junctions.
