Hi, During the days I was in Santiago (Dec. 29 to Jan 2) the temperature was somewhere around fifty degrees, but it rained ALL the time (except when the Holu Door was opened and during the fireworks). Daylight does not appear until about 9:00 a.m. and it gets dark around 5:00 p.m. Santiago is absolutely lovely, whatever the weather, believe me. Regards, Rosina
