Hola, Patricia and Jose!
Sorry for all those out there not interested in languages
or linguistics, but just want to reply. No, I'm not familiar
with Interlingua. There used to exist something called
Esperanto which Interlingua resembles...only Interlingua is
wholly Romance language based whereas Esperanto was a mixture of Romance and
other tongues.
End of topic except I do agree that to really enjoy travel, the
more you know of the language, the richer your trip will be.
