grocery stores in Santiago

Does anyone know of a simple market/store near the Cathedral in Santiago? All I could find was restaurants or eat-in places. I like to buy veggies, fruit, cheese, yogurt, nuts, bread, wine, etc., just to eat in my room...no especially fancy meals.
