Silence?

Amen to Todd's message.
A lure of the Camino is that freedom to be one's self.  If you wish to walk
in silence you must have your individual and personal reasons, or needs, to do
so. By all means, doit.
Dante Aleghieri  wrote in his "Divine Comedy" some lines that speak
profoundly to the spiritual yearnings of so many of us:  "Precious solitude, how late
I've met you... but how happily".
