Santiago Cathedral changes

Hi Liz,
It was reported that the Botafumeiro was a subject  of much discussion among
those readying the Cathedral for next year.  The latest information was  that
the Botafumeiro will be brought once a day, except Sundays, after one or the
other of the seven Pilgrim masses in a rotation basis at random (sic), without
previous notice of which Mass will be the one so favored in order to avoid a
rush of people thereto.
Some cynics are predicting that those in the know will do a brisk business
trading that information.  I personally do not think that such schemes, if
indeed intended, could work out in the midst of huge and transient crowds such as
expected next year.
