Hello you all,
The governing Council of USC (University of Santiago de Compostela) have
approved a new system whereby foreign students may attend the University
bypassing the usual exchange-student procedural requirements.
Under the approved plan, a student registered in an accredited college or
University in her/his country, can attend the Santiago University for up to a
year with the freedom of choosing any courses from those taught there. The
student will receive from the Santiago University whatever documentation may be
necessary to obtain credits for the course(s) taken in the student's home
college or University.

During the month of October 4,769 pilgrims received the Compostela, that is,
almost one thousand more that during October of last year. Of these pilgrims
1,871 were women and the rest were men. 4,201 pilgrims walked, 558 rode
bicycles and 10 rode horses.
As has become the norm during the fall and Winter, the majority of the
pilgrims (63.6%) were from countries other than Spain.

Warm regards,

Rosina
