[saintjames] sleeping outside

Hi Mary. With greatest respect, I think you are trying to become too
organized. The Camino to many these days is like some kind of tour or
cruise. It's not. It is an adventure where you greet each day with a sense
that you are going to experience something new and exciting-- but you don't
know what. Sleep outside, just for the fun of it. Planning as you seem to
want, will undoubtedly limit your experiences. I walked from Paris for 59
days without a clue of what I would encounter and it was the most meaningful
2 months of my life. Instead of organizing yourself to the enth degree, I
would recommend that you spend time understanding the history and culture of
the journey from "The Pilgrimage Road to Santiago" or other good books.
Don't get bogged down in details of-- how-- you will make the journey, but
try to understand-- why. Again, with greatest respect, and have a wonderful
time.
