Hi Folks.. 47 days and counting.

I am again seeking some advice.

I will arrive at the Madrid airport at 7:15 am on the 29th of April and plan on catching a train (several transfers) to St. Jean. The train leaves Madrid (Chamartin) station at 10:00 am.

a.. Not knowing anything about Spanish customs or travel in Madrid, is there sufficient time to make this connection?
b.. What is the best mode of travel from airport to station (cab.subway.bus....)? Cost?
c.. Regarding train travel, is there any difference between first and second class other than the $15 cost?
Arrival in Bayonne is at 5:55 pm.

a.. Is the trolley for St Jean still running at this hour?
Finally,

a.. Does anyone have suggestions on places to stay in St Jean and how I can make reservations?

  Thanks
