Hi Xose, I know Atienza from a wonderful book of his called "Leyendas del Camino de Santiago" (Editorial EDAF, 1998). It's easy to find in Spain, and well worth picking up for anyone who can read Spanish. He's a prolific writer, mostly on the theme of "magical and mysterious Spain."
