October accomodations

Lance and Theresa et al,
     My husband and I are also planning on walking early October..I am under
the inpression most if not all refugios or alberques will be closed. Anyone
know when they start closing? If attempting to get stamps any alternatives
to prove we were there? As well as collect! Anyone know where to download
information on locations, hours, etc of refugios/alburges? Appreciate any
