I wonder what they would have said if they had seen the tipical uniforms of a very traditional catholic school at Argentina. This was a very expensive school just for girls. I never understood why, but they had to wear horrible military green skirts with "tablillas" (I have now idea about how you said that in English) and... blue long pants underneath!!!! Agh! not to mention the blue sweater. That was really weird. And I was always complaining of our plain dark blue skirt and sweater!
