essential vs. worthless

Inspired by the New Year and resolutions, I would say the most important
thing to bring is trust that what you truly need will be provided to
you. Most worthless thing - there are so many! Probably anything you can
attach the word "extra" to, eg, extra shoes, extra pants, extra film,
etc. If it's extra, it's worthless. Read the packing lists in the
archives for some good hints. (You're not going to Siberia; if you truly
need something along the way, there are stores.) Buen Camino. Lydia
