Where to live your rucksack??

I think you will find that your packs are very safe in the refugios you stay in along the Camino; no need for chains!  It's a much kinder, safer world there on the road to Santiago then most of us live in when in the "real" world.  Buen Camino!

  Camilla, I was wondering about this too. I just checked Packsafe on Google. It only weighed 1 pound 3 oz. ...but the hefty $59.00 price tag for the medium size makes me inclined to take a chance. I will have nothing of great value with me, although I'd hate to lose my clothing! 
  I suspect that we could "southern engineer" some minimal safety device if we are really worried, and chain packs under beds.
