St Jean to Roncevalles

I left St. Jean on a Sunday in mid-May 2000.  There were at least 50 people
starting that day.  I had multiple offers to walk with other pilgrims and
actually joined a small group.  So, my guess would be that by mid-May there
will be other pilgrims starting on a Monday and that you probably won't be
all alone on the trail.  I think you'd be OK.

The weather when I walked was spectacular so I can't speak about the weather
on the trail b/t St. Jean and Roncesvalles.
