booking sncf vs rail europe

I have used RailEurope many times with great success. They will look up routes,
give reliable advice, and mail your documents immediately. But I didn't know
about the mark-up nor did I know one could pick up an ordered ticket as
described by Joe English. I think I'll try the sncf email order system. Thanks,
