Le Puy is one of the four traditional starting places, and is 1500km from
Compostela. You would have to be fit to walk that in two months, but it's
clearly possible, averaging 25km per day. Of course, you should assume some
time off to rest, repair equipment, recover, and regroup. November would
probably see colder, wetter conditions, especially towards and in Galicia,
and this could well slow you down. If you can manage 20 MILES a day from the
start for a month you should be OK.
