How I wish you were doing it in October.  I plan to depart LA solo into Madrid Barajas on the 6th of October this year. I will follow the suggestion of whoever it was that suggested to take the yellow(or green) airport bus from Barajas to Avenida America Metro station and take the bus to Pamplona from there. Yeah, I would love to connect with somebody who might be doing it at about the same time frame.  Am from Los Angeles...Jorge
