Still a little baffled...Travel advice

Hi,

I plan to fly into Paris and the flights are so much
cheaper than flying into Madrid.  I plan to start walking
at Roncevalles or if simpliler, Pamplona and walk to
Santiago. I have noticed that there are trains from
Santiago to Paris, but I feel a little baffled as to how to
get to Roncevalles/pamplona from Paris.  Do you take the
train to Madrid and from there the bus? I have looked in
the archives and much of the info is directed at those
starting in St. Jean.
