Refugios

My wife and I will be leaving this week for Madrid to
commence the pilgrimage from St. Jean PP in mid-March.
 Can we expect to find the refugios open that early in
the year?  Are the refugios set up dormitory style or
are there private rooms?  Do they have double beds?
Mattresses?
