A brief segue into technology

Without going into too much detail, there are technical elements out
there on the Internet such as SMTP hijacking, IP aliasing and DDOS
(Distributed Denial of Service Attacks) that enable one to, for example,
make it infinitely difficult to trace an individual's true, originating
e-mail address and, correspondingly, constantly and perpetually,
inundate another individual's e-mail address with thousands of e-mails
(mail bombs), thus rendering the receiving individual's e-mail address
unusable.  Further, using IP tracing capabilities, one may, for example,
trace another individual's Internet Service Provider and render the
ISP's web server unusable as well.  Any subscribers to the listserv with
a technical background can attest to these capabilities with the
appropriate tools and skillset.

That being said, and without naming names, I am politely requesting that
individuals' inflammatory remarks cease and desist.  They're tiresome
and stand completely in contrast to the spirit of the Camino.
