A few months ago we had a lengthy (and sometimes heated) debate on this
subject. Check the archives on the subject of cell phones.  Emails are a good
alternative to cell phones in my opinion.  Computers are available at cafes
and at libraries in the larger towns and cities.  Howard Mendes, NYC
