Motives

Greetings Elyn,
I suggest to you that an unexplainable urge or compulsion to walk the Camino
is God calling you through the road - so that you may experience his Grace
and love as you make this journey.
I can honestly say that I am compelled to walk - it is an irresistible force
that has been drawing me for more than 2 years now. There is also the
ripple effect. Through my desire to walk - I have met and formed meaningful
relationships with people in Spanish Class, I have been blessed with support
and encouragement from people through this group and other sources, and it
has encouraged my to really do some soul searching about my life to try to
work out the attraction that this journey has for me. Is it some form of
pseudo-spiritual adventure tourism or am I seeking and strengthen my
relationship with God.
I guess I'll find out in April - I can't wait!
Marion Topping.
