Greetings Peter from New Zealand - the new home of Middle Earth.
I was interested to see you quote Bilbo's song (a favourite of mine - having
read it to my son many times) especially as we went to see the new movie of
the Lord of the Rings last night. It was made in New Zealand by one of our
film-makers Peter Jackson, and I would highly recommend it as it was filmed
entirely in New Zealand giving a glimpse into our beautiful country. See it
if you can. My husband John and I will be making our Pilgrimage to Santiago
starting in Roncevalles in late April this year and look forward to the
mysteries of our own journey on the road.
We send our best wishes to you for 2002.
John & Marion Topping.
