2002 Gathering of Pilgrims

The Fifth Annual Gathering of the Friends of the Camino de Santiago

will take place in Williamsburg, VA on March 8-10, 2002. All who have made 
the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain on foot, bicycle or by 
any other means are welcome, as well as those exploring the idea of 
pilgrimage or looking for practical advice and the fellowship of modern 
pilgrims. The Gathering will offer time to talk informally about individual 
pilgrimages, and to hear presentations by researchers and authors, 
musicians and kinesiologists, recent veterans of the Camino and those who 
can offer reflections on the personal exploration that molds the pilgrim’s 
contemporary experience.

Registration is $100/person (due by Feb. 20th) and includes all activities 
and most meals for the weekend. Send checks made out to “Sandy Lenthall” to 
688 Counselors Close, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Please include the following

When calling the hotel, be sure to mention that you are attending the 
“Gathering” to receive the conference rate of $49/per night.  A block of 
rooms is being held until mid-February, so please make reservations 
early.  The Days Inn Downtown is within easy walking distance of all events 
for the 2002 Gathering, the College of William & Mary, and the historic 
district of Colonial Williamsburg.
