We just bought a Nextel digital phone for use on an upcoming trip to Europe,
and it has coverage (it appears from the map) for all of Spain; I had an
Spanish cellphone on the Camino in 2000 and had coverage throughout Leon and
Galicia--I probably would have had coverage everywhere else on the Camino as
well, but I used it in Madrid and west of Ponferrada. I hope that helps--you
might try your phone server's online site for coverage of Spain.
